SAIC is looking for Drafter CAD Operators at various levels of experience in Crane, IN to support the U.S. Navy.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Skill requirement and experience required aligns with WG 30062 Drafter/CAD Operator II.
- Prepares various drawings/computer models of parts/ assemblies/ systems in support of parts procurement in support of test system prototype or sustainment.
- Prepares drawings in support of the systems engineering process of preliminary and critical design reviews.
- Assembles TDPs and maintains configuration management of drawings.
- Utilizes knowledge related to drawing format, views, tolerances to viewer understanding and realizable and cost effective manufacturing.
- Drawings may include physical schematics, flow diagrams, and electrical wiring.
- Works with team of design engineers and serves their drawing/model requirements.
- Office work environment with little to no travel.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Associates Degree and three (3) years of experience
- SolidWorks experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently or with a team
REQUIRED CLEARNACE:
- Candidate MUST be able to obtain an Interim Secret clearance to start and be MUST able to obtain a Secret clearance to stay on contract. SAIC will assist with clearance process.
- US Citizenship required to obtain Secret clearance.
