SAIC is seeking an EDAP Program Lead  to support SAIC's Prime Program, Landmark AOS in Chantilly, VA.  Landmark AOS is a large SETA program, supporting the NRO's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle.  The role requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Key Responsibilities to include:

  • Assist the Program Director in spearheading a multifaceted team of Branch Leads, software engineers, acquisition specialists, and developers to deliver exceptional support across the program portfolio.
  • Function as a strategic partner to government Leadership, overseeing daily operations of personnel within specific customer offices, encompassing administrative duties, organization-wide communications, and the cultivation of globally-oriented progress.
  • Foster and maintain dynamic working relationships across departments to align with and fulfill the overarching objectives of the organization.
    Champion the recruitment, training, and management of department staff, ensuring optimal performance and skill alignment for effective job execution.
  • Employ exceptional problem-solving abilities to analyze complex data and develop innovative solutions to improve departmental and organizational performance.
  • Deliver strong organizational acumen, adeptly managing multiple concurrent projects and taskings, tracking progress against deadlines, and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Support and engage in Agile development practices to ensure quality and timely delivery of program components.
  • Ensure continuous improvements in acquisition and management capabilities.
  • Handle program financials, resource management, and contract performance metrics.
  • Act as a liaison between SAIC, the customer, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment with program objectives.
  • Manage risks and develop mitigation plans to address potential challenges.
  • Mentor and guide team members to maintain a high-performing program team.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly 
  • 8 years of experience in Program Management support
  • 4 years supporting government contracts in the defense or intelligence community.
  • Proven experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience supporting the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO)
  • Familiarity with state-of-the-art software and infrastructure technologies.
  • Strong understanding of software and IT infrastructure in the context of national security programs.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and cross-functional team environment.
  • Ability to lead and mentor development teams effectively. 
  • Strong oral and written communications ability on significant technical matters often requiring coordination within a high-tempo environment.
