SAIC is seeking an Enterprise Windows Systems Administrator to support the US Army Corp of Engineers on the Revolutionary Information Technology Services (RITS) program to support two of the major datacenters to administer servers in an enterprise and Azure environment for Windows servers 2019 and 2022.
This position is fully remote/work from home with occasional work on weekends for maintenance or after hours if a server goes out.
The Enterprise Windows Systems Administrator will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Manage servers and their associated operating systems and software
- Implement and support Citrix XenApp multiple environments, 5/6/7 farms
- XenApp configuration, Xen Desktop and troubleshooting experience
- Monitor and test system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports
- Deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems
- Design and perform server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company's disaster recovery and business continuity strategies
- Create PowerShell scripts as required
- Install Microsoft patches and other third-party software
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree and two (2) years' experience; additional four (4) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
Required Clearance:
- Must possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain; US Citizenship required.
Required Skills:
Experience administering Windows servers (i.e. Windows 2019, 2022 etc.)
Experience working in PowerShell
Experience with SQL Clustering
Knowledge of backend Active Directory
Must be willing to provide occasional after hours on-call support
Required Certifications:
Must have a current Security+ CE
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
