SAIC is seeking an Integration Solutions Engineer to support SAIC's SKYBern Program, in Chantilly, VA. SKYBern is a large SETA program, supporting NRO's acquisition of space systems and providing flight software integration. The role requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
As the Integration Solutions Engineer you will be involved with designing, developing, and implementing complex integration solutions for various software platforms and tools. To support this role, you must possess a deep understanding of integration methodologies, have a proven track record of successful integrations, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities to include:
Develop and implement integration solutions for software platforms and tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their integration needs and develop customized solutions.
Assist with the design, architecture, and witness testing of the government approved integration solutions.
Assist where possible and help guide the developer to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
Provide technical guidance and collaborate with other team members.
Ensure integration solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry's best practices.
Maintain documentation for integration processes and solutions.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and integration trends.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and five (5) years or more experience; Master's degree and ten (10) years or more experience; Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly.
Experience in software/platform tools integration or a related field.
Experience with multi-vendor, distributed cloud architecture integration and development
Experience supporting major integration efforts in a high-tempo environment.
Strong knowledge of integration architectures and methodologies, demonstrated by successfully supporting seamless integration efforts across multiple component vendors.
Demonstrated proficiency in integration tools and platforms, with experience using systems comparable to those employed in developing and facilitating DevSecOps pipeline implementations.
Possesses experience in API management, microservices architecture, and cloud integration, demonstrated through capabilities developed in technical guidance roles and cloud-based DevSecOps expertise.
Experience supporting the IC.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team: A history of effectively leading teams and collaborating on high-stakes projects.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and cross-functional team environment.
Strong oral and written communications ability on significant technical matters often requiring coordination within a high-tempo environment.
Designing and developing custom solutions using Apex, and Lightning Web Components, and extending the Salesforce Platform using both declarative (configurations, Salesforce Flows) and programmatic methods.
Create and configure standard/custom objects, fields, flows, custom metadata, platform events and work to improve application efficiency.
Develop and support integrations with external systems using Salesforce APIs and other integration methods. This includes knowledge of ERP and Retail POS systems, Oracle integrations and AWS.
Support multiple environment deployments, troubleshoot issues, assist in unit testing, debugging, and quality assurance to ensure successful solution implementation.
Perform system maintenance and upgrades, stay updated on new Salesforce features and technologies and support related applications.
Obtain key inputs from enterprise architecture teams and identify cross platform solution interdependencies
Continuously monitoring production environments, analyzing system performance, and identifying potential issues before they impact users.
Support deployment environment management activities across platforms and aid the DevOps processes.
Lead resolution of daily issues and production support problems for key systems. Identify and work with internal and external users to correct root causes of issues.
Responding to and resolving incidents, minimizing downtime, and ensuring quick service restoration.
Investigating the root cause of incidents, documenting findings, and recommending improvements to prevent recurrence.
Documentation of customizations and integrations is required including user interfaces, and system outputs
