Join a winning team!  SAIC is looking for a self-starting Intel-Instructor to work on a collaborative, user-focused training team. Instructor will be required to assess, plan and conduct knowledge and skills-based training. Teach end users for national systems equipment, data processors, and software/hardware applications. Candidate will be required to design and develop training and education materials to include learning objectives, curriculum, training tools, and complete courses. Candidate is required to guide students through the application of national system equipment, data, and analytical applications to specific threats or regional issues. Make a difference in securing our nation's security through quality outreach of NRO's capabilities, tools and tradecraft.                                                     

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Provide skills-based training to users of NRO and Mission Partner equipment, data processors, and software/hardware applications.
  • Recommend training requirements in the areas of NRO equipment and applications use and proficiency for military professional development centers and schools, operational units and national agencies.
  • Maintain expert applied knowledge of designated equipment and applications.
  • Provide training using post-event data and product analysis for specific user issues when required.
  • Provide training on how to apply NRO and related equipment, data, and applications to specific threats or regional issues when required.
  • Provide users with updates on training products as required.
  • Provide educator support.
  • Provide knowledge-based education to military, IC, civil, and national users of NRO data and derived intelligence products.
  • Recommend education requirements in the areas of NRO systems capabilities and limitations for military professional development centers and schools, operational units and staffs, national agencies, and approved Allied military schools and units.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of current and future NRO systems to include architectures, constellations, sensors, dissemination, exploitation, collection management, derived intelligence products, and support to operations.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 12+ years' work related experience
  • In-depth knowledge of intelligence disciplines, intelligence cycle, and intelligence products 
  • Operational intelligence analyst experience (IC or DoD)
  • 10+ years training/instructor experience
  • Ability to learn, understand and explain highly technical aspects of national systems
  • Willing to travel approximately 25% to include weekends and on short notice
  • Knowledge of SIGINT and GEOINT remote sensing systems, protection, and overall space and ground architecture including mission management and/or mission processing functions
  • Knowledge of visualization, situational awareness and collaboration tools to enhance utility of NRO capabilities to users
