SAIC is seeking a IT Systems Analyst to collaborate with developers and assist in requirements gathering, testing and quality assurance, implementation and deployment, and band-end maintenance. This Customer Office is the force of choice for the development of global infrastructure and delivery of solutions that drive influence operations.

This position is in Chantilly, VA and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Conduct detailed analysis of business needs, user workflows, and data requirements to identify necessary system functionalities.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams, providing clear guidance and ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality, identify defects, and ensure quality standards are met defining and solving problems with existing systems.
  • Assist in the rollout of new systems, including user training.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide ongoing support to users after deployment such as training users and providing end-user support. 
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagements such as virtual and in-person user requirements gathering sessions and trainings.
  • Contribute to project planning, tracking progress, risk planning and management, and managing timelines to ensure successful project delivery. Prepare meeting agendas and collect meeting minutes. Track POCs, tasks, and action items to meet program deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph 
  • Bachelors in computer science, information systems, or a related field and 6 years or more experience; Masters and 4 years or more experience ; PhD or JD and 0 years or more experience.   
  • 6 or more years of demonstrated work experience in the following: 
    • Systems analysis, business analysis, or software development 
    • Working within an Agile Scrum team environment 
    • Managing IT projects 
    • Performing requirements analysis 
    • Performing requirements analysis 
    • Working with financial data sets 
    • Using issue tracking tools such as Jira 
    • Using team collaboration tools such as Confluence or similar 
  • Understanding of programming languages, database management systems, network infrastructure, and 
  • Understanding of project management principles to manage tasks, timelines, and resources effectively. 
  • Awareness of business objectives, industry trends, and how IT systems can contribute to strategic goals.
