Systems Engineering SETA to support the team responsible for designing, developing, and verifying spaceflight systems. This role combines technical leadership with people management—driving engineering excellence while developing and supporting a team of talented systems engineers.
Responsibilities:
Manage verification and validation planning, execution, and documentation in compliance with aerospace standards.
Ensure rigorous configuration management, documentation control, and compliance with certification and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Program Management, and Technical Leadership.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelors in STEM and 3+ years of systems engineering experience.
Background in requirements definition, integration, and verification for aerospace systems (avionics, structures, mechanical, electrical, or interiors).
Knowledge of systems engineering processes (V-diagram), requirements management tools, and milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Must have a secret clearance, and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience with Confluence and Jira, or similar tools.
Familiarity with aerospace quality and certification standards.
Strong systems architecting skills and big-picture mindset.
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
