In support of the government customer, the SAIC Program Manager, and the Chief Engineer; the Logistics Analyst is responsible for:
- Manage monthly meetings with the Integrated Logistics Support Management Team in support of assigned programs and projects.
- Ensure major projects and program schedules and plans are integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
- Manage and track plans and schedules, perform risk analysis and manage variance metrics, milestone charts, and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.
- Ensure compliance with internal program procedures and project control system guidelines IAW with FAR/DFAR and company MMAS procedures.
- Manage and recommend repairable and consumable spare parts, tools, test equipment, and support equipment for system maintenance.
- Develop, create and manage provision Data Requirements for all new systems/components or modifications to existing systems/components.
- Create and track plans and schedules, perform risk analysis, and identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts.
- Make/recommend substantial improvements to systems and processes.
- Ensure projects and program schedules and plans are integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
- Ensure compliance with internal program procedures and project control system guidelines.
- Attend and lead scheduling status reviews and conduct briefings with senior leaders which requires ability to communicate matters of importance to the function or business area.
- Senior professional with strong knowledge of job area and in-depth knowledge of project management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 6 years of prior logistics experience; Master's Degree with 4 years of prior logistics experience; or minimum of 12 years of prior related experience in lieu of degree
- Extensive MS Project experience.
- US Citizenship with an active Secret Clearance and must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
