SAIC is seeking a Staff Officer to identify, analyze, and resolve business and administrative issues and challenges that are central to the effective conduct of office activities.  This position will be responsible for the following:

 Duties include:

  • Perform administrative officer duties to include scheduling, coordinating meetings, coordinating calendars and events; and gathering, inputting and retrieving electronic data.
  • Serve as the primary suspense coordinator for all TEG taskings to include those from external agencies, internal offices and staff packages.
  • Assemble and process Staff Summary Packages, as needed, for TEG.
  • Assist with Office staff meetings and provide administrative and coordination support to the forum; take notes and electronically record actions from key personnel as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of routine and special topic briefings and reports; prepare and distribute briefing reports and read-ahead material utilizing Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Routinely review floor plans, coordinate office moves and obtain appropriate NGA authorization for office construction, equipment or personnel moves; update seating charts and prepare cubicle name signs for incoming personnel.
  • Create travel plans and itineraries for Senior Government personnel to include Defense Travel System (DTS) authorizations and vouchers; create and manage NGA Management Execution Tracker System (MET).
  • Compile, edit, and disseminate articles submitted from each TF branch to create the Weekly Activity Report (WAR) to give to CIO-T and the Director of National Intelligence (DNI).
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of TEG succession planning to include reviewing strategic workforce planning (SWP), work roles and training. Execute and accomplish the succession planning initiative.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI is required.
  • Willingness to obtain a polygraph is required.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience within field with 11-14 years of experience.
  • Demonstrate experience in gathering supporting data to create adhoc reports featuring metrics, or analysis.
  • Demonstrate experience performing administrative officer duties to include scheduling, coordinating meetings, coordinating calendars and events; and gathering, inputting and retrieving electronic data.
  • Demonstrate experience implementing oral and written communication skills with drafting documents and briefings.
  • Demonstrate experience with Microsoft Office products, with a specific emphasis on Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook applications.
  • Demonstrated experience in business process development, including but not limited to developing and maintaining diagrams, checklists, and SOPs.

Desired Skills:

  • Proficient in government systems (e.g. Defense Travel Systems, NGA Central Electronic Systems.
  • (NCERTS), Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS), NGA Management.
  • Execution Tracker System (MET).
  • Experience using Microsoft Project Application.
  • Data savvy person with a desire and hunger to learn all aspects of enterprise data management.(Data ingestion, curation and presentation).
  • Knowledge of Big data and Open source data sources.
  • Knowledge of Data engineering.
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts.
