SAIC is seeking a PNT Staff Analyst to provide on-site support to the DoD Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Enterprise in Washington, DC. This role will provide policy and technical support to the Office of the Department of Defense (DoD) Chief Information Officer (CIO) in its various roles overseeing and managing the DoD PNT Enterprise. The duty location is at the Pentagon.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
• Support, compile, research, and respond to all PNT related policy, programmatic, and technical tasks as required to support the DoD CIO customer to properly advocate for the DoD PNT Enterprise
•Assist the DoD CIO in conducting assessments and analyses of emerging GPS, PNT, and NAVWAR.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelors and 10 years of relevant experience; Masters degree and 8 years of relevant experience; 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.
Required Security Clearance:
- Must have an Active TS/SCI Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
Required Skills:
- Effective manager of multi-tiered workload.
- Impeccable time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office tools
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Strong Pentagon staff experience across OSD, Joint Staff and the Services (3+ years).
• PNT Enterprise and Navigation Warfare familiarity.
• Any Space Operations experience, with an understanding of how space systems function e.g. 3 segments, RF C2 links, challenges with ops, sustainment, and modernization OR
•Space systems; Satellites; Satellite Communication; test range.
•Experience with acquisitions, Program Element Monitor (PEM), Presidential Budget Reviews, RDT&E or DOT&E.
•Assist the DoD CIO in conducting assessments and analyses of emerging GPS, PNT, and NAVWAR.
