SAIC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to oversee the Aircraft Armament Equipment (AAE) and Aerial Refueling System (ARS) support program in support of PMA-201. This role is based in Indianapolis, IN, and involves leading a multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful execution and delivery of AAE and ARS support services. The Program Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the program, including planning, execution, and stakeholder management, to achieve program objectives and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Program Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the AAE and ARS support program, ensuring alignment with PMA-201 objectives and goals.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of program milestones and deliverables.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for PMA-201 and other key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and relationship management.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate program risks, ensuring proactive management of potential issues that could impact program success.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all program activities adhere to SAIC's quality standards and industry best practices, delivering high-quality support services.
- Financial Management: Oversee complex program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring adherence to financial objectives. Manage the financial aspects of complex contracts, ensuring accurate tracking and compliance with contractual terms.
- Performance Monitoring: Track program performance metrics, implementing corrective actions as needed to ensure program objectives are met or exceeded.
- Contract Compliance: Ensure compliance with all contractual requirements, regulations, and policies governing the program. Manage complex contracts, including negotiations, modifications, and compliance.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement, implementing process enhancements to increase program efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Qualifications- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, 15 years of relevant Navy or NAVAIR experience may be considered.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management, with at least 5 years of experience in aircraft armament, aerial refueling systems, or related defense systems.
- Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of aircraft armament systems, aerial refueling systems, maintenance, and support requirements.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, with a focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Contract and Financial Management: Experience managing complex contracts and financials, including negotiations, modifications, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required by the position.
