SAIC is seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Associate to support operations of the Specialized Munitions Division at NSWC Crane, IN.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This opportunity will provide a success driven individual the ability to collaborate with other professionals in the development and implementation of programs/processes focusing on quality improvement.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

• Support the Division Quality Focal Point (QFP) in identifying unsatisfactory trends, conditions, and factors contributing to non-conformance by seeking recommendations and clarifications from division personnel.
• Assist the Division QFP's additional role of Records Liaison while helping to verify that current Division Projects, Correspondence Logbooks, and Quality Documents are properly administered in the proper record repositories.
• Aid the Division QFP in evaluating compliance and effectiveness of process control to the applicable Crane Management System (CMS)
• Attend monthly QFP meetings
• Assist in Quarterly 6S(+) quality walkthroughs
• Tracking the status/completion/implementation of Crane Action Management System (CAMS) tickets
• Tracking of Division/Branch instructions to completion

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree and zero years of experience.  Additional years of experience in lieu of degree will be accepted. Minimum two years must be in related experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent Organizational Skill
• Determined problem solver
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite of software tools (Outlook, Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Interim secret required to start, with the ability to obtain a full DoD Security Clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance.
• US Citizenship

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Quality Control or related experience
• Technical Writing Proficiency
• Process Development
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
