The Senior Knowledge Manager will provide support for operational intelligence integration and data-centric operations for customers across tactical, joint, interagency, allied, and coalition partners, including Army Service Component Commands (ASCC), Joint Task Force J-2s, and Combatant Commands.
This position is contingent upon award expected summer 2026. Work is to be performed at Ft. Belvoir, VA.
Designs and implements tools and technologies to promote knowledge management and collaboration within the enterprise. Draws out, captures and categorizes business information by direct communications with end users. Develops storage platforms, index strategies and user interfaces for knowledge assets. Implements workflows and processes to manage information using collaboration and knowledge management platforms such as SharePoint. Managers set the specific duties and responsibilities for each employee).

Apply and/or develop highly advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts. Viewed as an expert in the field. Participates with senior management to establish strategic plans and objectives.
PROBLEM COMPLEXITY: Develops information, which extends knowledge in a given field. Information may form the basis of newly developed concepts, theories, and products.
FREEDOM TO ACT: Often acts independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of operational programs. Plans R&D programs and recommends technological application programs to accomplish long-range objectives. Work is checked only to the effectiveness of results obtained, typically requiring a long-term perspective. Virtually self-supervisory. Makes final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures operations' effective achievement of objectives.
IMPACT: Designs research and develops highly advanced new applications resulting in new product/business opportunities for the company. Erroneous decisions or recommendations would have a long-term negative effect on organization's reputation and business posture.
LIASON: Serves as consultant to top management in long-range company planning concerning new or projected areas of technological research and advancements. Prime spokesperson on company's technical capabilities and future directions. Often instrumental in attracting and obtaining major new company business.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Master's degree and 12 years of related experience OR Bachelors degree and 17 years of related experience
- Relevant experience must include work within the IC community
- 4 years of demonstrated experience providing data integration support in the form of data governance, data architecture, data warehousing, data quality management, metadata management, data operations management, and data discovery.
Demonstrated ability to deliver professional briefings and presentations and ability to draft and maintain SOPs and reports for complex projects
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT:Ability to obtain DoDD 8140.01 certification/IT Level II within 30 calendar days
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
- Possess a current TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a CI polygraph
