SAIC is seeking a Test Engineer in Crane, IN. 

Job Duties: 

• Provide troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of battery test systems and components. Design and develop test systems for Missiles, Aircraft, and other Lithium Battery systems.
• Develop software and programming for testing and data analysis.  Use programming such as Visual Basic, Enerchron, Excel, Word, Project.  
• Support failure investigations, implement advanced automation frameworks and data analysis procedures, improve testing efficiency using advanced automation frameworks and data analysis procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional design and manufacturing teams to translate test data into actionable insights, directly influencing the development of next-generation battery designs.  Participate in high level committees such as FAA RTCA, IUPUI Electrical Engineering Steering committee.

Qualifications

Required Education: 

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
   

  Essential Skillset: 

   

   

• Support testing throughout the entire process, from interface with customer, develop test plan, develop test documents, direct the testing, assist with solving testing issues, preform data reduction and analysis and prepare professional reports.  Develop and lead technical presentations and training to include technical readiness reviews.
