SAIC has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Business Process Analyst to join a high-performance team that is spearheading our customers (VA) migration to the cloud. Looking for an analyst who can work at scale and with autonomy, who can be a trusted advisor to our client. This is a 100% Remote role.

 

Job Description

·       Provides expertise on continuous process improvement strategies, organizational redesign, change management projects, and performance measures for basic business process engagements.

·       Defines and develops business processes, policies, roles and responsibilities, and performance metrics.

·       Conducts analysis of business processes including:

o   Current state analysis

o   Gap analysis

o   Benchmarking

o   Best practices identification

o   Organizational assessment

o   Other related tasks

·       Plans and implements process improvements including:

o   Future state design

o   Change management

o   Transition planning

·       Interfaces with all project areas including:

o   Customer

o   Computer services

o   Client services

·       Provides oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance and performance quality.

·       Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and agency guidelines to assure compliance.

·       Works with operating entities to provide continuous process analyses oversight to enforce requirements and meet guidelines.

·       May coordinate with business and technology teams to ascertain system requirements.

·       Conducts client interviews.

·       May deliver presentations and training courses on measurement, analysis, improvement, and control.

·       May perform cost and benefit analysis.

o   Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field.

o   General knowledge of other related disciplines.

o   Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives.

o   Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance.

o   Work is reviewed by management to measure whether objectives have been met.

o   Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.

o   Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.

o   Works under only general direction.

o   Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.

o   Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.

o   Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

o   Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects.

o   Failure to obtain results or erroneous decisions or recommendations typically result in serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources.

o   Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts.

o   Represents organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.

Qualifications

Education

·       Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.

·       Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.

·       Advanced certifications are preferred, such as:

o   Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)

o   Project Management Professional (PMP)

o   Six Sigma Certification

o   Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

 

Experience

·       Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business analysis or a related role.

·       Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects.

·       Experience working in various industries or sectors is beneficial.

 

Requirements

·       Expertise in eliciting and documenting business requirements, business processes, and workflows.

·       Proficiency in creating functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.

·       Experience with business modeling techniques and tools (e.g., UML, BPMN).

·       Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or similar.

·       Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

·       Proficient in using project management and tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Microsoft Project).

·       Understanding of database concepts and basic querying skills.

·       Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, interpretation, and presenting findings.

·       Proficiency in using data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).

 

Clearance Requirement

·       US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

 


Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
