SAIC is seeking a self-motivated and efficient problem solving Supply Technician to perform the following responsibilities in our North Charleston, SC customer site:
 

  • Compile and maintain material and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts between warehouse and production areas, according to predetermined production schedules and order priorities: compiles and interprets inventory reports, and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priority.  
  • Locate and distribute materials to specified production areas, using mobile stair platform, handcart, pallet jack, or forklift.  
  • Record and maintain perpetual inventory of quantity and type of materials and parts received, stocked, and distributed, through use of computer and CMPRo database.  
  • Prepare and ship material to customer locations.  May examine material received, verify part numbers, and check discrepancies, such as damaged or unmarked parts. Submits change requests in database when appropriate.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:

  • High school education or equivalent (GED) and two (2) years related experience. 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
