SAIC has an immediate opening for a Systems Engineer on a prime contract in Chantilly. The Systems Engineer will serve as the primary interface between the client program and its industrial contractors. This individual will attend various technical Monthly Status Reviews (MSRs), providing feedback and assessment on industrial contractor performance directly to the program stakeholders. Additionally, this role requires close collaboration with industrial contractors to facilitate the testing of contractor products on the customer testbed network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend and actively participate in Monthly Status Reviews (MSRs), providing thorough feedback and assessments on industrial contractor performance to the program manager
- Collaborate closely with industrial contractors to facilitate the testing of their products on the customer testbed network
- Troubleshoot and identify solutions to problems in complex systems, often with limited or incomplete documentation
- Proactively reconfigure and maintain the testbed network, including tasks such as re-mapping equipment, changing network configurations, and remotely operating test equipment
Qualifications
- Must currently possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree and 9 years or more of relevant experience
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related engineering field
- Familiarity with the customer mission systems
