SAIC is seeking a talented Sr. Systems Engineer to support NSWC Crane Hypersonic programs.
NOTE: This is a remote position, requiring periodic travel to Crane, IN for customer meetings. Potential for additional travel (up to 25%) to support program reviews and technical interchanges in DC, Albuquerque, Denver, Huntsville and other program stakeholder locations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead development of HS/SW requirements, architecture and interface products
- Review and evaluate Technical Data Packages
- Lead Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETRs) Design and Model Reviews
- Perform various systems engineering activities including:
- Concept of operations formulation
- Requirements definition
- Technical analyses and trade studies
- System architecting, analysis and design
- System performance analysis
- Interface management
- Systems integration planning
- Validation and verification activities
- Drawing and Model Reviews
- Preparing engineering plans and process instructions
Qualifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering Discipline (aerospace, mechanical, or electrical preferred) and 15+ years of experience
- Experience supporting DoD Hypersonic, Missile Defense, or Unmanned Systems programs
- Prior SSP Program experience desired
- Familiarity with NSWC Crane Systems Engineering Processes and toolsets
- Experience conducting technical briefings for multiple stakeholders, program office, and other top leadership.
- MBSE experience (Cameo is preferred)
- Experience designing prototypes or ensuring that design met functional tests from procurement to validation/verification.
- Secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a top secret clearance.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
