SAIC's Space & Intel Business Group, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, is seeking A Systems Integrator to support system and requirements integration, manage and support the overall financial and business efforts including a new initiative related to cost recovery mode, and support a startup integrated security initiative. 

This position is in Herndon, VA and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph

Job responsibilities include: 

  • Work to integrate different requirements and capabilities from other offices across the broader Sponsor community into a centralized system.
  • Design, test, and integrate new security products as directed by the GTM.
  • Integrate security products, including designs for all Sponsor networks.
  • Provide technical oversight and direction to designated boards for integrating new technology or major new mission capabilities into the Sponsor environment, standards and structures.
  • Engage with customers to determine the nature of requirement/analytic problem, evaluate options, and offer Information Technology (IT)-based recommendations.
  • Resolve complex IT problems efficiently and accurately while adhering to Sponsor's standards and procedures.
  • Plan, test, and integrate new and upgraded versions of the relevant IT components, systems, applications, tools. T
  • Identify opportunities to integrate and improve resources to accomplish customer needs. T
  • Review existing Information Technology (IT) programs and assist in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improve current techniques.
  • Strategically plan new designs for integration into a budget reconciliation database structure, using knowledge of the characteristics of the systems being added to the structure and the specifications for database interfaces to ensure effective integration and optimal database performance.
  • Provide for the logical conversation of customer or product requirements into total system solutions.
  • Review and acquire data from primary or secondary cost recovery data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to include expenditure plan requirements, and business process analysis.
  • Provide insight into industry trends and make recommendations on future direction; identify new technologies and assess their technical and performance characteristics.
  • Support the development and monitoring of Sponsor its overall community-wide policy and procedures to support mission goals and operations.
  • Stay abreast of Sponsor's directives, regulations, guidance, notices and standards.
  • Analyze current processes, available tools in an effort to enhance the Sponsors change management processes.
  • Create and execute a Sponsor-wide communications plan that facilitates timely and transparent flow of information.
  • Respond to senior level leadership queries on activities.
  • Development of all types of documents and reports by creating and updating graphics presentations to improve the quality and enhance the usability of these documents.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. 
  • Bachelors in computer science, information systems, or a related field and seven 18 years or more experience
  • Demonstrated experience with the following:
    • Tracking budgetary funds.
    • Exceptional customer service working directly with business and technical customers to communicate organizational accomplishments, status and direction to stakeholders' at all organizational levels.
    • Developing use cases that improve the ability to find information in a more timely fashion.
    • Data analysis, requirements gathering, translations, and visualizing information in a clear way to explain the data at hand.
    • Developing and managing project schedules, utilizing MS Project to identify critical tasks, and EVM for overall project status.
    • Resource allocation and optimizing resource assignments by identifying key resources and the right set of skill sets required for a project.
    • Developing Minimum Viable Increments (MVIs) based on requirements gathered.
    • Business/Financial areas.
    • Utilizing written communication skills to produce publishable documents.
    • Portfolio & resource management. 
    • Working on both development and integration projects.

Desired Skills: 

  • Demonstrated experience with: 
    • Service Now.
    • Sponsors on site customer domain.
    • Working in or with the Sponsors security component.
    • Working in and with the Sponsors security tools and processes.
