SAIC is seeking an experienced Naval Aviation Officer with expertise in Naval aircraft and training systems to work as a Technical Integrator (Aviation) for distributed Navy war games and other training based out of San Diego, CA.
Position is contingent upon contract award, expected Summer 2024.
As a Technical Integrator, you will bring together disparate aviation simulators, joint training systems, warship combat systems, networks, and other C2 systems into a coherent architecture to support advanced, distributed, high-end fleet training exercises. This position requires expertise in aircraft and simulator training configuration, operation, maintenance and management.
This position may require occasional travel in support of fleet training planning conferences. Main location is San Diego, CA.
Qualifications
Position Requirements:
- Active Secret level clearance
- Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years of experience, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of six (6) years of technical management experience as a Naval Aviation Officer or equivalent supervising combat system configuration, operation, maintenance, and repair
- Must have planning experience with Strike Group, Fleet, or Major Training Command, Systems Testing Command or similar military organization
- Must have experience operating a Naval Aviation Simulator in FST or equivalent complex architecture
Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
