Join a winning team!  Be part of a dynamic team that delivers excellence and quality for the NRO's Mission Integration Directorate (MID).  SAIC is seeking to fill an opening for a Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Pentagon USD (I) SETA) Outreach Representative. The customer outreach activities are focused on Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence (USD (I)), DoD, and Mission Partners. Provide advice and recommendation to Director and Deputy director PSO on pertinent issues regarding NRO capabilities and contract support. Interface with USD (I) to support oversight role of the NRO, provide information and status on NRO systems, capabilities, and products. Represent PSO at senior level USD (I) forums.

  

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

·         The ideal Representative will perform engagements across the Intelligence Community utilizing customer domain experience / expertise across all disciplines.

·         Embedded within the J2/J8 to promote collaboration between Joint Staff and the NRO and preparing briefings for senior decision makers.

·         Be knowledgeable on National Systems technical collection capabilities and methods of the NRO and those utilized by their respective users in order to serve as advisor for officials and from each organization.

·         Provide expert advice, in-depth training, and exercise / operational support to IC partners by identifying customer capabilities that contribute to users' success.

·         Generates and disseminates daily intelligence summaries for NRO leadership consumption.

·         Follow the Pentagon Support Group (PSG) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) defining PSG personnel roles and responsibilities, process description and details, and deliverable to be produced by PSG.

·         Provides strategic planning and senior staff support, including strategic and operational engagement coordination.

·         Executes customer strategic messaging, user needs tracking, business intelligence and data metrics capture, and customer relationship management and monitoring.

·         Frequent interaction with government, SETA, FFRDC, and external stakeholders

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

·         Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph

·         Bachelor's degree and 9+ year's professional related experience 

·         Must be highly self-motivated; strong technical and leadership background; professional and tactful under pressure; effective negotiation and diplomatic skills 

·         Must have excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, for coordinated communications with organization and representatives throughout the IC and DOD, including senior military and government civilian personnel and contractors 

·         Understanding of the intelligence community and customer domain, along with a strong Proven experience with technical fundamentals in IC space collectors, command and control, mission control, and mission processing

·         Experience identifying user needs and gaps, identifying potential solutions, and assessing/analyzing alternatives

·         Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and energetic environment

·         Customer focused and capable of representing the customer in community forums

·         Knowledge of SIGINT and GEOINT remote sensing systems, protection, and overall space and ground architecture including mission management and/or mission processing functions
