- 1 shift per 4 week assignment
- 2 shifts per 8 week assignment
- 3 shifts per 13 week assignment

- BLS through AHA
- Management of telemetry
- Interpretation of cardiac rhythms
- Management of dysrhythmias
- O2 Protocol
- Non-invasive airway management
- Peripheral line care/management
- Isolation precaution/PPE
- Experience with cardiac drips (nitro, Cardizem, amiodarone)
- Rapid response team activation
- Computerized documentation
- Patient ratios:
- RN 1:4-6
- CNA 1:6-13 on days and 1:10-13 on nights
- 1 year of experience within the last three years in MS/Tele/PCU
- No first time travelers

- Salem Health Float Pool Team
- The Float Pool (FP) Team supports all adult inpatient units in the organization
- This includes, but is not limited to, the Emergency Department, Psychiatric Medical Center, intensive care unit (ICU), inpatient rehabilitation, vascular access and inpatient adult care units
- Float Pool team members are highly flexible and knowledgeable of adult inpatient care
- The team also supports our sister hospital, West Valley Hospital, in Dallas, Oregon
