• Guaranteed Hours:
• 8 Rule: 36.00 hours per 1 week
• 10 Rule: 36.00 hours per 1 week
• 12 Rule: 36.00 hours per 1 week
• Client may cancel up to:
• 1 shift per 4 week assignment
• 2 shifts per 8 week assignment
• 3 shifts per 13 week assignment

Job Requirements
• BLS through AHA
• Management of telemetry
• Interpretation of cardiac rhythms
• Management of dysrhythmias
• O2 Protocol
• Non-invasive airway management
• Peripheral line care/management
• Isolation precaution/PPE
• Experience with cardiac drips (nitro, Cardizem, amiodarone)
• Rapid response team activation
• Computerized documentation
• Patient ratios:
• RN 1:4-6
• CNA 1:6-13 on days and 1:10-13 on nights
• 1 year of experience within the last three years in MS/Tele/PCU
• No first time travelers

Schedule Information
• 12 hour days 0700-1930
• 13 weeks
• ASAP start

Unit Specific Information
• Salem Health Float Pool Team
• The Float Pool (FP) Team supports all adult inpatient units in the organization
• This includes, but is not limited to, the Emergency Department, Psychiatric Medical Center, intensive care unit (ICU), inpatient rehabilitation, vascular access and inpatient adult care units
• Float Pool team members are highly flexible and knowledgeable of adult inpatient care
• The team also supports our sister hospital, West Valley Hospital, in Dallas, Oregon
