- Job Requirements
- Functions Specific to Role as Computed Tomography Technologist
- Prompt and competent performance of computed tomography and radiologic studies
- Processing of radiologic images and transmission to teleradiology services
- Patient care, including safety, transportation, and explanation of procedures
- Work area maintenance and equipment upkeep
- Schedule Information
- Assignment will be WEEKENDS 3 12s and weekdays 3 12s
- Shift lengths: 12 hours
- Provide urgent service after regular work hours according to an established call schedule
- Unit Specific Information
- Attend continuing education programs pertinent to radiology
- Maintain proficiency with the Department PACS, radiology information system, and clinical information system
- Additional Details
- Must be competent in the OR and with fluoro procedures
- Quickly adapt to novel techniques and procedures related to the position
