Smyth is seeking an experienced, talented, and motivated individual to join our Production team supporting our Green Bay facility. You will be responsible for the proper set-up, operation, quality, and changeover of the printing presses.

This is a full-time opportunity. We have an opening on our 3rd shift, which is 5 days a week, beginning with training on days. Compensation will be based on the skills and experiences you bring to Smyth.  

Shift Available: Monday - Friday, 10 pm - 6 am (starting on Sunday)

The Digital Press Operator is responsible for the efficient set-up and operation of the Domino digital press, focusing on meeting specifications in product quality, safety, team building, and effective waste management. This position must possess qualities in leadership in the areas of Lean Manufacturing, ISO quality systems, innovation, and current systems technology.

Successful candidates should demonstrate these core elements:   

  • Must have the ability to think through the mechanical aspects of equipment operations and decision-making.  
  • Able to manage time effectively on multiple long- and short-term projects, meeting all related deadlines. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills to effectively work with a diverse group/variety of people and personalities.  
  • Able to demonstrate high levels of customer service, responding promptly and thoroughly to the inquires and needs of individuals, both internal and external to the organization.  
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, bother orally and in writing, to all levels of people inside and outside the organization.   

Skills, Experience, and Credentials   

  • High school education required. 
  • Mechanical aptitude required. 
  • Preferred experience with Domino press operations.
  • Previous experience with Lean Manufacturing and ISO quality systems preferred.
