We are seeking a highly skilled CSSO to manage the day-to-day security operations of a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) supporting Intelligence Community (IC) programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of ICD 705, DoDM 5105.21 V2, DoDM 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, NISPOM 32 CFR, TEMPEST Countermeasures, RF Best Practice Guide, Executive Orders, and other relevant DoD and IC Policies. Responsibilities Primary CSSO responsible for managing the day-to-day access rosters, scheduling, opening, closing, and other required actions for the SCIF. Serve as an Assistant Facility Security Officer as needed. Providing oversight and maintenance of the facility's daily physical security operations, program security access briefings, indoctrinations, debriefings, and other duties. Maintaining entry control, verifying clearances via DISS, creating badges, process incoming and outgoing visit requests, set up Secure-Video Teleconferences (if needed), conducting SCIF training, and managing personnel security actions. Performing all required actions to ensure all SCIF equipment and networks remain operational and operationally accepted. Conducting, completing, and maintaining all required SCIF accreditation/reaccreditation documentation, i.e., the SCIF Binder which contains all the required documents, diagrams, policies, and procedures. Maintain a master tracker for the day-to-day operations of the SCIF to include but not limited to alarm contact roster(s), access control rosters, entry/exit inspections, etc.) Support the SPA Facility Manager and Government customer in providing comprehensive guidance and instructions on security policy procedures, techniques, equipment, and methods as it pertains to the Technical Specifications for construction and management of the SCIF. Interfacing with both local and external stakeholders to maintain SCIF accreditation and those supporting services for the Intrusion Detection System (i.e., UL-2050), network, and alarm system. Identifying information requiring protection, such as documents, materials, and devices, and designating the level of protection based on prescribed parameters, well-defined procedures, as well as internal and external policies. Advising on safeguarding of all classified material, as well as the packaging and shipment of classified material. Conducting periodic security inspections of cleared facilities, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance with applicable DoD and IC policy. Analyzing and implementing organizational security policies and procedures that ensure the physical safety of sensitive information, as well as the protection of the organization's personnel, facilities, and information. Providing security recommendations to the Senior Director of Security, Program Managers, and Government stakeholders. As needed develop Construction Security Plans and maintain an exhaustive list of egress and ingress equipment within the SCIF. Identifying and performing preliminary inquiries of incidents involving the mishandling of classified information, as required. Report security incidents, violations, and coordinate with company's senior leaders and other government security representatives. Create, Update, and Maintain required DD254s as needed. Provide mandatory security training and briefings to all personnel with access. Ensure compliance with ICD 705, DoDM 5105.21 V2, DoDM 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, NISPOM 32 CFR, TEMPEST Countermeasures, RF Best Practice Guide, Executive Orders, and other relevant DoD and IC Policies.
