About the Must Haves

  • Active Secret Clearance with U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in evaluating and/or writing Government Cost/Price Proposals
  • Possess strong problem-solving, analytical, and in-depth research skills
  • Possess effective communication skills to include writing reports of significant complexity and length, and be detail-oriented
  • Exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating, and negotiating with company personnel and suppliers

Responsibilities

About the Position

 

The prospective candidate must be able to analyze sole source and competitive proposals, recommend solutions for a wide array of complex pricing problems, and prepare write-ups in preparation for various approvals.  Key duties associated with this role include but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform the proposal evaluation IAW the FAR, DFARS, DAFFARS, and other applicable policies and procedures; analyses may involve price, cost, value, cost realism, cost principles, parametric estimating, economic price adjustment, and profit/fee/incentive analyses.
  • Support projects such as analyzing profit trends on negotiated actions, incentive plans, performance-based payment plans, and award fee plans which are part of the profit/fee/incentive arrangement.
  • Support the analysis, evaluation, development, implementation process, and system improvements within budget while adhering to strict time requirements and schedule.
  • Utilize analytical and computer skills and various software (Microsoft Office) packages to prepare appropriate reports and documents.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties.
  • Able to prioritize and self-manage a multitasked workload in a fast-paced environment.
