Qualifications

About the Must Haves:

  • B.A. or B.S. in a related field or lieu of a degree at least five years of relevant experience
  • At least eight years of relevant experience as a Personnel Manager
  • Possess an Active Secret security clearance
  • Proven relevant experience with U.S. military service acquisiiton

About the Desired:

  • At least an earned B.A. or B.S. degree in a related field
  • Specific relevant experience with Space Acquisition operations

Responsibilities

About the Position

The successful candidate shall be able to:

  • Respond to data calls, document reviews, acquisition reporting, travel requests, media requests, and other mandatory reporting directed by program oversight organizations
  • Review program documents for consistency with applicable military, federal, state, local, contractual, commercial, or international statutes, regulations, policies, publications, directives, instructions, executive orders, codes, requirements or standards
  • Receive, document, generate, distribute, track and close tasks
  • Open, read, understand, and properly distribute tasks to the responsible program organizations, and supply supporting references as needed, close tasks, when possible, prior to distribution
  • Coordinate with program staff and track the status and report metrics for tasks, action items, suspense, and responses at a minimum from receipt through closure with the originator
  • Schedule and distribute recurring tasks and program-related materials, review and evaluate tracking and tasking processes of program organizations, track suspense, monitor status, provide action item coordination, review accuracy, ensure timeliness, recommend changes, and shall be able to provide quality control of presentations, briefings, and media relations
  • Prepare program memoranda, staff summary sheets, program office briefings, and other similar duties
  • Review responses to all taskers and efficiently staff responses for approval, distribution and closure
  • Ensure that responses are technically and programmatically accurate with detail sufficient to complete the tasks
  • Assess, develop, evaluate, and consolidate responses for answering technical and programmatic inquiries
  • Review, coordinate, and process program information suitable for public release to industry, media, trade publications, international partners, and other program stakeholders
  • Review visit requests, distribute requests, and establish visit timelines and shall be able to ensure all documents required to facilitate the visit are properly completed and staffed in a timely manner
