Description
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- At least 5 years of experience in timesheet processing and payroll in the government contracting environment.
- Knowledge of government contract regulations, including FAR, DCAA, and other relevant compliance requirements.
- Strong proficiency with timesheet management systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Process, review, and verify timesheets for employees.
- Reconcile discrepancies between timesheets and labor distribution systems.
- Work with employees to ensure all timesheet issues are resolved and processed.
- Collaborate with project managers and department heads to resolve timesheet-related issues.
- Prepare and submit timesheet reports for internal and government audits.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding timesheet submission and discrepancies.
- Analyze pay type discrepancies and resolve.
- Reconcile Employee Data between Payroll System/Timesheets and Labor for all Employee
- Reconcile Leave between Timesheets and Labor
- Report on all labor/timesheet requests for CAO/CFO.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to timesheet processing and reconciliation.
- Participate in periodic audits and ensure the timely resolution of any audit findings.
- Maintain knowledge of evolving regulations and best practices related to government contract labor processing.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) standards.
