Our Integrated Warfare Systems (IWS) Group comprises more than 100 staff that provide program and project management, systems and digital engineering, software, test & evaluation, product support, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT support to more than 100 Above Water Sensor, Undersea, and Combat System programs and projects in the Navy's Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) and customers in Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Office of Naval Research (ONR), Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the Navy's Team Submarine Office. #FC SPA's IWS Group office is located at 20 M Street in Southeast DC, conveniently down the street from our clients at the Washington Navy Yard. #FC Responsibilities Exciting early-career opportunity to provide Test & Evaluation (T&E) Professional/Engineering Support Services (ESS) to the U.S. Navy Program Executive Office, Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS), Above Water Sensors (IWS2.0) programs. Experience working in a technical field planning for and/or conducting test events is required. Specific tasks include: Assist the client with T&E planning, execution, analysis, and reporting. Support in the development and execution of T&E, program management, acquisition management, and strategies Provide meeting attendance/support, presentation development/support, publication support, correspondence, action item tracking/closure, and weekly reporting in support of assigned sensor system programs Support the portfolio lifecycle through test, integration, and delivery of hardware and/or software. Track and monitor program and T&E risks and conduct risk reviews. Develop formal correspondence and work with the DoD, field activities, Integrated Product Teams, Technical Teams, and various vendors to develop, identify, locate, support, acquire, and manage test requirements Some travel is expected for this position (~5%). A hybrid work environment is allowed, but you must have the ability to regularly work in Washington, D.C. Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering 1-3 years of relevant experience Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Desired Qualifications Practical experience in at least one aspect of planning for and/or conducting military developmental and/or operational test events Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other related technical degree Some unique skill or knowledge to help a test team (e.g. Design Of Experiment, statistics, Modeling & Simulation, analysis, USN experience, radar / EW applications, target/range services) Familiarity with the DOD Acquisition Process, an active Secret clearance, and/or experience with warfare sensor systems
