Warranty Administrator

The Warranty Administrator will be responsible for administering warranty activities to include diagnosis and repair suggestions to repair facilities, comparison of previous failures to develop reports for customers and SRC Automotive that detail failures and opportunities for improvement that will positively affect the quality of future product and drive the continual improvement of our processes. 

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the main contact point for our aftermarket customer, their customers, vehicle owners, and repair facilities during the warranty claim process
  • Retrieving and logging customer emails in the warranty database and responding appropriately within a reasonable time frame
  • Making phone calls to repair facilities to aid in diagnosis and possible repairs, or deciding to have failed engine returned for analysis and making the arrangements for its return

Essential Qualifications

  • Must have strong understanding of engine theory in automotive and marine applications
  • Experience in engine manufacturing, repair, or related experience is required.
  • Computer literacy/experience required, ability to learn company specific systems/software

Preferred Qualifications

  • AA/AS in Industrial Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred
  • Two (2) years of previous quality experience preferred
