Description

WHY THIS ROLE ROCKS!

Are you the kind of person who sees opportunity in every negotiation, knows how to spot a great supplier from a mile away, and gets a thrill out of saving money and building strong partnerships? Then this role is for you!

We're not just looking for someone to buy things—we want a strategic sourcing superstar who will help us shape the future of our supply chain, uncover savings, improve supplier performance, and make sure we always have a backup plan.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Scout the best suppliers using every tool you've got: trade shows, site visits, industry pubs, internet rabbit holes—you name it.
  • Partner with our QA and Engineering pros to qualify and approve world-class suppliers.
  • Negotiate like a champ: think volume, price, quality, on-time delivery, and customer service.
  • Write and manage Requests for Quote (RFQs) that get results.
  • Stay on top of market conditions and new products to lock in cost reductions.
  • Play a key role in new product development sourcing—you'll be part of innovation from the ground up.
  • Keep your knowledge fresh through trade shows, conferences, and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate across departments (Warehouse, Engineering, Production) to ensure packaging and supply are on point.
  • Share intel with your teammates and make our supplier base even stronger.
  • Represent us at industry expos, bring back insights, and track promising leads.
  • Prioritize sourcing decisions that drive savings and solve real production needs.
  • Make sure every part is packaged and supplied safely in line with OSHA standards.
  • Be ready for some adventure—occasional overnight travel is part of the game.
  • Live and support our culture of Open Book Management—because here, you're not just an employee, you're an owner

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • A curious, resourceful, and results-driven professional.
  • Someone who thrives on negotiations and relationship-building.
  • A proactive thinker who's always a few steps ahead with contingency plans.
  • A team player who can work cross-functionally and communicate like a pro.
  • Someone who enjoys learning, staying current, and bringing fresh ideas to the table.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE WORKING HERE:

  • You'll make a direct impact on costs, suppliers, and product quality.
  • You'll work with a team that values creativity, ownership, and innovation.
  • You'll gain exposure to global suppliers, cutting-edge products, and exciting industry events.
  • You'll be part of a company that believes in sharing success—because your wins are our wins.
