What You Will Get To Do:
The candidate will be responsible for a broad spectrum of operation and accounting matters impacting our hybrid clients (hedge / private markets) covering middle office, reconciliation and reporting.
Responsibilities include wire processing, centalized bookings, P&L reporting reasonableness, cash and positions reconciliations, ensuring that reconciling items are investigated and resolved, or escalated in a timely manner.
The candidate will work on ongoing improvement, automation and risk mitigation across processes for Reconciliations, Payments, Daily PnL and various Month End tasks.
The applicant must be able to filter and synthesize detailed information, as well as understand system processes and workflows including recommendations for process improvements based on industry regulatory changes, best practices primarily targeting risk mitigation, controls, and straight-through processing and reducing volume sensitivity.
The candidate should have strong investigative skills, is able to connect the dots. Experience in leading moderate to complex projects or working on complex tasks that require a high degree of judgement, resourcefulness, and self-initiative.
- Manage the delivery of accurate and timely work product within specified deliverables timelines
- Act as an escalation point to the client
- Responsible for validation and posting of a multitude of expenses and charges at a centralized level across funds processing journal entries and preparing adequate supporting
- Preparation and investigation of complex reconciliations including Intercompany and Private Loan
- Responsible for reconciling client transactions to third party data, to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the records.
- Monitor and manage regular break resolution and month end signoff responsibilities, ensuring consistent timeliness and accuracy.
- Achieve a good understanding of the internal control environment and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, particularly the Global Operations Standards.
- Prepare and/or approve treasury wires covering market, cash and payment
- Contribute to the end-to-end process across middle office and fund accounting
- Undertaking special projects as requested
What You Will Bring:
- University degree in banking, finance, accounting or commensurate experience
- More than 5 years of relevant experience in the financial industry
- Strong transformation abilities and strength in leveraging automation tools.
- Solid understanding of middle office, operations and fund admin processes
- Strong competencies in product knowledge (Bond, repos, Equities, FX, CFD, CDS, TRS, IRS, etc)
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills with proven ability to manage and prioritize work to meet deadlines despite frequent interruptions
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Strong adherence to controls and procedures

- Exceptional dispute resolution and effective problem-solving skills
