Job Description
Provide reporting and remittance of abandoned property to the various states and territories in accordance with state unclaimed property rules. Support adherence to SEC Rule 17Ad-17 Lost Shareholder and Unresponsive Payee regulations by working change reports. Perform maintenance of account registration formatting to ensure correct shareholder reporting is provided to the states. Perform due diligence on potentially escheatable accounts, assist shareholders with locating/reclaiming lost assets, assist client with state initiated audits/questions, answer internal questions on abandoned property, maintain system settings in accordance with standard settings and client specific requirements, and respond to state inquiries.
