What You Will Get to Do: 

Lead End-to-End Project Delivery 

  • Manage technology projects from initiation to deployment and transition to BAU. 

  • Build and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, resource allocations, and executive status reports. 

  • Control scope, budgets, and timelines, ensuring all deliverables align to business objectives and regulatory requirements. 

Partner Across the Wealth Ecosystem 

  • Work with key stakeholders across Superannuation, Wrap Platforms, Financial Advice, Investments, Operations, Finance, Risk, and Compliance. 

  • Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering, solution design sessions, and UAT preparation. 

  • Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, business-focused manner. 

Drive Strong Technical Execution 

  • Oversee solution design, system integration, data mapping, and testing cycles (SIT/UAT). 

  • Support delivery of changes to registry systems, adviser portals, digital investor experiences, API integrations, and reporting platforms. 

  • Manage production deployments, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilisation. 

Manage Vendors and Third Parties 

  • Coordinate with consultants, platform providers, IT partners, and system integrators. 

  • Review statements of work, vendor deliverables, and contractual obligations. 

  • Ensure external teams meet quality expectations and timelines. 

Ensure Compliance, Quality, and Risk Controls 

  • Align project delivery with ASIC, APRA, CPS 230, RG 97, and wealth regulatory frameworks. 

  • Maintain traceability across requirements, design, testing, and approvals. 

  • Actively monitor risks, issues, dependencies, and change impacts. 

Improve Member, Adviser & Employer Experience 

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve digital journeys, and optimise platform interactions. 

  • Deliver enhancements that uplift experience for investors, advisers, and employer groups. 

 

What You Will Bring:  

Technical & Industry Expertise 

  • 5–10+ years of technology project management experience in financial services or wealth management. 

  • Solid understanding of superannuationwrap platformsfinancial advice technology, or asset/investment management systems

  • Experience with system integrations, digital solutions, data migration, and regulatory projects. 

Stakeholder & Vendor Capability 

  • Strong ability to influence and communicate with senior leaders, technical teams, and business SMEs. 

  • Proven track record managing external vendors and technology partners. 

  • Skilled at translating business needs into actionable technical requirements. 

Project Management Skills 

  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Hybrid delivery frameworks, and PMO governance. 

  • Excellent planning, reporting, and documentation skills. 

  • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple initiatives. 

Analytical & Problem-Solving Strengths 

  • High attention to detail with the ability to connect strategy to execution. 

  • Structured, logical thinker with strong risk and issue management capabilities. 

• Experience in managing technologies, associated risks and working in partnership with consultants 

• Experience in resource allocation, managing priorities, and managing different skills within a team 

• Detailed understanding of all stages of SDLC and the ITIL framework 

• Strong experience in Agile and Waterfall delivery
