What You Will Get To Do:

The Manager of Government Programs leads a team that executes on government regulated products and solutions including, but not limited to Federal and State regulatory compliance processes, global Medicare and Medicaid claims processing solutions, CMS and State regulated print/mail products, Plan Finder, and CMS and State reporting. These products and solutions support the company's overall strategy and goals. The Associate has a strong understanding of customers' needs, deep internal capability knowledge, the competitive environment, (including our position in relation to competitors), and the market forces required to launch a successful product solution. The Associate maintains ongoing knowledge of the regulatory environment, our customers' portfolios, and our vendors' capabilities to ensure compliance of products and solutions.

  • Leads a team of Government Programs associates dedicated to providing compliant solutions to customers and the organization.
  • Manages third-party vendor relationships and owns delivery of quality products and solutions
  • Works on a variety of issues where analysis requires evaluation of multiple factors, including business objectives and trends.
  • Participates in the interview/selection process, provides training and mentorship, offers career development guidance, and is engaged in performance management.
  • Adapts plans and priorities to address resource, operational, risk, and compliance challenges and opportunities within a functional area
  • Recommends policy and/or procedure changes so the Company remains in compliance with the ever-changing regulatory environment; defines department's operating standards.
  • Helps determine and assures adherence to appropriate budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
  • Plans and prioritizes work to meet department commitments aligned with company goals and financial responsibilities.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional technical and business teams to ensure compliance and timeliness of projects and enhancements
  • Engages with Client Relations teams to provide support to customers

What You Will Bring:

  • Strong knowledge of the Life Cycle of a Pharmacy Claim
  • Strong knowledge of Health Plan and Claim Processor responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of Government Programs, including Medicare Part D and Medicaid
  • Experience with Customer Service to Health Plans
  • Leadership skills including communication, motivation and engagement, adaptability, problem-solving, team building
