As a member of the solutions team, you would be responsible for building and maintaining unique custom extensions to our core suite of products to maximize the value of our products for our customers in ways that are unique to them and their business needs. Upon completion of probation, new developers within the Tier1 Division are required to participate in our afterhours emergency support on a rotational basis with the existing support team. This position is open to remote work from within the Canada and US reporting into a Toronto Head Office, working a typical EST workday.

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Implement feature sets using standard and custom objects, workflows, triggers, user roles, security, profiles, workflow rules, email alerts and templates, and campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain Visualforce, Apex, and Integration tools to our core suite of managed packages as well as some other third-party solutions
  • Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades for optimal performance
  • Identify usage and data problems and craft technical / communication plans to remedy.
  • Support and train new end users on our Salesforce.com applications
  • Participate in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues
  • Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to achieve client commitments in an Agile environment
  • Document the code changes with quality and supportability in mind

What You Will Bring:

  • Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, and responsible teamplayer, who exhibits exceptional relationship management skills.
  • Active Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification & Trailhead Ranger Status
  • 3+ years of experience in a Salesforce Developer role
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM platforms
  • Experience developing Process Builders, Flows, and other Clicks-not-Code Processes
  • Proficient in Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components
  • Experience applying strong debugging and analytical skills to resolve issues
  • Good team player with sound oral and written communication skills
  • Customer Service Oriented ▪ Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.

Bonus

  • Experience using Typescript.
  • Knowledge of Version Control Systems like Git, SVN
  • Experience using JIRA
  • Exposure to automated testing, modern CI/CD pipelines.
