What You Will Get to Do:           

In this senior role, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our data migration team. You will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for quality assurance of data migration and data reconciliation.
 

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Quality Assurance of solutions developed in a data migration team
• Plan, Prepare, Execute and Report Quality Assurance using superannuation registry systems and SQL tools.
• Analyze test requirements, design and prepare manual and automated test scenarios and scripts which provide comprehensive coverage of given requirements.
• Generate test metrics & ROI to utilize them for process and efficiency improvements.
• Build complex SQL queries to build automation scripts for data migration and reconciliation requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments.
• Triage and retest defects raised outside data migration team.
• Plan and execute go-live data migration testing and reconciliation activities.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimation.

What You Will Bring:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Migration QA Engineer with solid background in both manual and automated testing.

With a proven track record of leading complex testing projects, you will also:

• Be proficient in tools such as JIRA, Xray, TOSCA, Postman, and SQL.
• Have strong working experience in large scale data migration and reconciliation.
• Have strong understanding of ETL processes, data mapping, and transformation validation.
• Have strong hands-on experience with manual and automated testing and reporting.
• Have hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, data profiling tools, and test automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with data reconciliation techniques.
• Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.         
• Have experience in the superannuation industry or a similar financial sector to minimize the learning curve and quickly contribute to the team.
