What You Will Get To Do:

SS&C is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our growing Fund Administration team as a Fund Accounting/Reporting Senior Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a full suite of Fund Accounting services to our Hedge Fund clients, including the accounting and valuation of complex investments, accurate and timely NAV calculations, financial statement preparation, and ad hoc daily and month-end client reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong internal control mindset, excellent attention to detail, and familiarity with global accounting standards. You will work collaboratively with clients, external partners, and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery, adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and the maintenance of robust financial controls in line with company policies.

  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of client reports, maintaining compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Prepare and review NAV reporting packages on a periodic basis, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Draft and finalize annual and semi-annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards such as IFRS, US GAAP, and Lux GAAP, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate and manage communication with clients, auditors, and internal teams, ensuring a smooth financial statement preparation process.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to address and resolve issues promptly.
  • Oversee and facilitate the setup of new clients, fund launches, and fund conversions, ensuring seamless implementation.
  • Actively contribute to projects and process improvement initiatives, driving efficiencies and enhancing service quality.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a financial services environment, with a focus on Fund Accounting and financial statement review.
  • Experience in the Hedge Fund industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, peers, and senior management.
  • Proactive and forward-thinking approach, with the ability to anticipate challenges and drive effective solutions.
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Resourceful, solution-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiencies.
