Reports to:  Mgr Software Engineering Central Support

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Designs, drafts, and revises test strategy, test plans, and test cases with an understanding of software processes from the customer's perspective.

  • Identifies and makes recommendations for application modifications and changes to enhance the effectiveness of quality initiatives. 

  • Valuates end-user requirements, software test criteria, and existing manual tests to determine where automation can be appropriately and effectively applied.

  • Plans, develops, and maintains a wide range of moderately complex manual quality tests and analyses to ensure software functions according to specified standards and end-user requirements.

  • Uses test utilities to generate and prepare test data. 

  • Executes automated and manual tests according to established test plans and specifications, interprets results, documents defects and issues, engages in root cause analysis and retests software corrections to ensure problems are resolved. 

  • Develop automated testing if it is applicable. 

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineer, Computer Science, IT or related field; and 2-4 years of work-related experience. 

  • 2-4 years applicable industry knowledge and software testing experience including demonstrated proficiency using testing tools and utilities. 

  • Demonstrated project leadership skills and/or aptitude. 

  • Understanding BDD (Behavior Driven Development) concept.

  • Understanding SDLC and Agile Scum Methodology. 

  • Experience in automated testing. 

  • Be able to learn mainframe and open system  

  • Experience working with SQL. 

  • Experience working with JIRA / Service Now

  • Strong time management skills, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadline. 

  • Able to work with team or independently, self-motivated, and result-oriented. 

  • Good written communication skills and good verbal communication skills.
