• - Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: All general ultrasound and procedures, GYN, ER, floors, general cases, thryroids, No MSK or vascular. (*hepatic duplex and OR- facility is ok without these experiences)
• - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Ok with first time travelers, prefer previous travel
• - Average # of scans/studies per day: 8 per tech
• - EMR &/or PACS they use: McKesson, EPIC
• - Department Specific Equipment: Cannon/Toshiba aplio 500- easy to learn. Not a big deal if they do not have experience with this machine
• - Is there a Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech on each shift: Have several charge techs and a manager with ultrasound experience, and radiology educator
• - Radiologist in-house: Yes- not overnight
• - Do they have to start IVs: No

Schedule Information
• - Shifts & Scheduling: Staffed 24/7. Most are 9-10 hour shifts 4 days a week, 24/7 coverage. (Nights tend to do 7 on and 7 off)
• - Weekend Requirements: No, only for weekend unless specified. Weekend techs do three 12 hr shifts
• - Holiday Requirements: No, travelers as last resort
• - Call or Standby requirement: No
• - How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: Yes up to 3 shifts
