Overview

Technical, analytical, and administrative work at a professional level for the Department of Environmental Conservation. Duties may involve the provision of technical assistance in the review and analysis of environmental policies, program activities, and data in a variety of department regulatory, non-regulatory, scientific, and engineering programs. Work at this level differs from lower level technicians in the level of expertise, breadth of knowledge and independence required. Work is performed under the supervision of a higher level technical or administrative superior.

Environmental Factors Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, a biological life or physical science, math, or natural resources field AND three 3 years or more at or above a technical level in an environmental or natural resources field.

 

OR

 

Associate's degree in engineering, a biological life or physical science, math, or natural resources field AND five 5 years or more of experience at or above a technical level in an environmental or natural resources field.

 

OR

 

Two 2 years or more of experience as an Environmental Technician III.
