Overview

The Agency of Digital Services (ADS) is seeking skilled and motivated IT Vendor Relationship Specialists to support the effective management of vendor partnerships across state technology initiatives. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between ADS and external technology vendors, ensuring contracts, service levels, and performance metrics align with agency and statewide goals.

 

This position involves working closely with procurement, legal, and technical teams to monitor vendor compliance, facilitate issue resolution, and support strategic sourcing efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, along with experience in vendor management, IT contract oversight, or supplier performance tracking.

As of July 14, 2025, the step 1 rate for pay grade 28 will be $37.06 per hour.

Environmental Factors

Work is performed in a standard office setting. The role involves intensive interaction with departmental officials who may advocate strongly for their programs. Implementation of recommendations may be difficult because of competing interests and limited resources. Rapid response in the face of tight deadlines may be necessary. Some travel may be required for which private means of transportation should be available. Work outside of the regular work schedule may be anticipated.

Minimum Qualifications

Four (4) years or more experience in business, business science, logistics, contract administration, or contract law, or five (5) years' experience in a related field along with at least one year of managerial experience. 

Preferred Qualifications

Associate's degree in business, business science, logistics, or engineering and four (4) years' experience in a related field along with at least one year of managerial experience.
