Description
Stifel's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Department works to minimize risk to the firm's capital and future earnings through the strategic planning, organization, and control of business initiatives, with a focus on vendor management, data privacy, market risk, regulatory affairs, and business continuity.
As an Enterprise Risk Management Intern at Stifel, you will have the opportunity to work closely with highly skilled professionals and contribute to important risk management initiatives, helping to identify and mitigate potential risks across the organization. This position provides a solid foundation for building a successful career in risk management and offers valuable exposure to the financial services industry.
What We're Looking For
- Learn basic job functions and responsibilities within the appropriate area you are assigned to such as:
- Collaborate with ERM teams to support with various business functions within Enterprise Risk Management.
- Work with internal SMEs to gather relevant documents to populate team webpage.
- Support the preparation of risk reports, including risk assessment findings and recommendations.
- Participate in meetings and discussions relating to risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with the ERM team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Other projects as assigned.

Education & Experience

- Familiarity with relevant financial systems and industry practices.
- Demonstrated interest in risk management and a desire to pursue a career in the field.
Systems & Technology
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
