Description

The Operations Associate III in Mutual Funds 529 Plans is responsible for being a lead contributor in driving departmental results for upcoming omnibus conversion events, onboarding of new Omnibus 529 Plans as well as assisting in the day to day processing of 529 Plan transactions. This position requires a sound understanding of department subject matter including 529 Plan accounts and Direct at Fund (level 0) positions.  The Associate III is able to lead projects and be the point of contact for firm issues. This position will require collaboration among team members department specific while following established procedures.

  • Manage higher level and sensitive information
  • Provide the highest quality of customer service through written and verbal communications

  • Sound understanding Stifel's applications, industry rules/regulations and Stifel policies that pertain to the 529 Plan account transactions and Direct at Fund positions and Stifel's branches
  • Ability to lead testing applications and upgrades as they become available
  • Working knowledge of financial services applications, systems, terminology and procedures and ability to adapt to these changes
  • Ability to lead training both new and existing associates on departmental and branch processes
  • Able to determine and correct the causes of high level and advanced inquiries, issues and errors


Education & Experience

  • Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum Required: 3-5 years professional business related experience


Systems & Technology

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook including Word, Excel, Access, etc.
  • Thomson One and BETA
