As an Operations / Transition Intern at Stifel Independent Advisors (SIA), you will have the opportunity to collaborate with knowledgeable operations professionals and gain practical experience in a variety of operational methods.  As an intern, you will experience operational processes, transitioning a business process, an insight to the daily functions that support the Independent Advisor approach. 

Learn basic job function within the SIA Operations Department as assigned, with other projects as assigned.

Included, but not limited to:

• • Assist with various administrative work
  • Respond to inquiries
  • Attend development and training meetings
  • Contribute to various projects
  • Coordinate with Operations Associates to help with daily functions within the Operations Department.
  • Coordinate with Transitions Associates to help with any ongoing transitions

• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated track record of achievement in academics and extracurricular activities.
• Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and industry best practices preferred.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, business or related field. Previous coursework in these fields or related is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
