- Registered Nurse in the State of Oklahoma
- Has a Bachelor's Degree, Master's degree preferred
- Has 3 years of more of management experience in a hospice or related health care organization
- Caring and patient
- An excellent communicator with good customer service skills

JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for the overall direction of hospice clinical services. The Director of Nursing establishes, implements and evaluates goals and objectives for hospice services that meet and promote the standards of qualtiy and contribute to the total organization and philosophy. QUALIFICATIONS:- Registered Nurse in the State of Oklahoma with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the State.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program by the National League for Nursing. Master's degree in hospice preferred.
- Three years of management experience in a hospice or related health care organization.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
- Ability to market and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and or Organization requirements and is in good working order.
- Has excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations and ACHC standards.
- Work is primarily sedentary in nature with some standing and walking.
- Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
- Must be able to communicate with others in person and over the telephone.
- Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses, to prepare and process information, supervise practice of staff, and monitor the work environment.
- Fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to operate office machines.
- Lifting and moving heavy objects, up to 75lbs.
- Computer knowledge and skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
