Large, well-established private OB/GYN practice with offices in Queens and Nassau County looking to add a generalist and laborist to their growing practice. They are a well-balanced group with a 50/50 OB/GYN ratio and approximately 1200 deliveries and 750 GYN cases per/year. The group consists of 10 OBGYN providers and 29 APPs and they work out of 7 beautiful, fully equipped offices. Providers rotate through a few of the offices and admit to one of Nassau Countie's finest teaching hospitals with full subspecialty support. For the generalist, this lifestyle-friendly group offers a call schedule of 1:8 from home and because they have a strong mentoring program, there is always backup support, and new hires will be mentored and have access to tons of GYN exposure if they need cases for their boards. Offer includes very generous salary and occurrence base malpractice with fully covered tail, PTO, CME, Life, Health, and Dental coverage.
They are also looking for an OBGYN Laborist to do 3 12-hour shifts weekly with a 4th 12-hour shift every 3rd weekend. The Laborists cover the group's patients and the L&D and would not be responsible for covering the ED walk-ins. The OBGYN physicians in the practice would be on backup call and would be there to assist if needed. They prefer a fixed schedule but will also consider more flexible rotating if necessary. It's a salaried position with a very competitive base for a day laborist, and if a candidate is willing to function as a nocturnist, they will offer an additional 65K!
