Opportunity Information:

Sutter East Bay Medical Group (SEBMG) is seeking to hire a fulltime Neurohospitalist to join an established group of Neurologist providing inpatient Neurology services in 2 San Francisco East Bay Medical Centers. The SEBMG Neurology Department provides 24/7 coverage for ER and hospital inpatients. This includes coverage for a comprehensive stroke center. The hospital coverage will be shared with one full time Neurohospitalist and other members of the Neurology Department who also participate in daily rounds and night call. The hospital offers a highly collaborative environment with Internal Medicine Hospitalists and full complement of medical and surgical sub- specialists.

SEBMG is a rapidly growing multi-specialty medical group whose physicians and advanced practice clinicians work in 10 care centers and 4 hospitals in the San Francisco East Bay. SEBMG is affiated ith Sutter East Bay Medical Foundation, a not-for-profit health care organization providing operational and administrative support to the medical group.

Position details:

  • Shift based work with both daytime and nighttime shifts
  • Responsible for all new consults and follow ups during the shift
  • Minimum 16 shifts per month though some variability from month to month. Increased number of shifts available if desired.

  • Comprehensive stroke center and one of the two hospitals.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified/eligible
  • Possess active and unrestricted California Medical License
  • Current DEA license.
