Primary Purpose:
The Field Services Engineer I position reports to the IT Field Services Manager. This position is responsible for the timely resolution of IT related issues encountered in our retail locations that impact business processes.
Key activities for this role include:
• Familiarity in working with online ticketing systems
• Proficiency in performing network issue troubleshooting both on premises and via remote tools
- Including: Configuration of Internet modems, network routers, switches, and VOIP solutions
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Assist in workflow creations and process improvements
• Proven ability to meet deadlines
• Communication skills both written and verbal
• Provide support during Field visits or dispatches
• Knowledge of retail operations preferred
• Ability to work nights / weekends as needed for special projects
• Minimal Travel
• Complete all other duties as assigned
Additional Dimensions:
The accomplished individual will possess the following experience:
• Bachelor's degree or related equivalent work experience of 2+ years
• 2+ years of working in the retail industry
• Proven expertise and overall responsibility in customer service satisfaction
