Overview

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) consists of a Headquarters (HQ) organization at the Washington Navy Yard and a variety of technical and industrial organizations. The NAVSEA HQ Facilities Management Division (SEA 10F) has the responsibility for providing support services in diverse workload areas at the NAVSEA Command campus (Washington Navy Yard), Crystal City, and the surrounding Capital Regional area.


Responsibilities

  • Administrative and office support activities for program director: such as, typing letters, metric report creation, taking notes in meetings, and receive/direct visitors to resolve issues for projects and emergencies.
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy files on shared drive
  • Schedule, coordinate, and record minutes for project meetings
  • Assist government with creating metrics on facilities functions
  • Support the Zoning Authority Board meetings by preparing for and documenting meetings, follow up on action items, draft and coordinate signatures on seating MOUs and post to G Drive, update website, conduct best practice research and ensure ZAB members notebook documentation is current
  • Support Workspace Management with metrics development and testing, Archibus report research and testing, Zoning Authority report testing, support, and document Brown Bag meetings, maintain Workspace Management website content
  • Document SOP's and Processes for the Program Director

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • 4 –7 years of administrative experience which includes a background in creating presentations in PowerPoint and the ability to use Office products (i.e., Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong organization, writing, and communication skills
  • US Citizenship Required
  • Tier 1 – NACI clearance required
